TN THE id1ATTER OF RESOLUTION
OPENING ROAD :
Commissioner Warren offered thefbllowing
resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, a petition, signed by two-thirds
or more of the free holders adjoining the proposed County
road to be opened between Sections 22 and 23, Township 5
North, Range 64 West; and between Sections 14 qnd 15, in
Township 5 North, Range 64 West, has been presented to the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and ,
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the
public require a county road as above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby
ordered that a County wagon road be laid outas follows, to-wit:
Commencing at the intersection of State Highway No. 34 with
section line between Sections 22 and 23, Township 5 North,
Range 64 West; thence in Northerly directions, along section
line between Sections 22 and 23 and Sections 14 and 15, in
Township 5 North, Range 64 West, for a distance of approximately
3000 feet from point of beginning.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Sanden
and the resolution adopted by the following vote:

ROAD PETITION.
To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Cola.
GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the
intersection of State Highway Noes (Greeley to Ft. Morgan Highway) with
section line between Sections 22 and 23, Township 5 North, Range 64 West;
thence in Northerly direction, along section line between Sections 22 and
23 and Sections 14 and 15, in Township 5 North, Range 64 West, for a
distance of approximately 3000 feet from point of beginning.

Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above described,
and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of
one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Wttl.d
-l-he receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agrees to give
the right of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for
