RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" AND "30-MILE PER HOUR" SPEED
LIMIT SIGNS ON KIOWA DRIVE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH WEST 37TH
STREET IN ARROWHEAD SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering has
recommended to the Board that a "Stop" sign and a "30-mile per
hour" speed limit sign be installed on Kiowa Drive at its
intersection with West 37th Street, in Arrowhead Subdivision, to
insure the safety of the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, after reviewing the recommendation of the Department
of Engineering, the Board has determined that said traffic control
devices are necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering be, and hereby is, directed to install a "Stop" sign
and a "30-mile per hour" speed limit sign on Kiowa Drive at its
intersection with West 37th Street, and that said signs shall
conform to the State manual and specification.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of
December, A.D. , 1986 . ��� (;
