RE: PUBLIC APPROVAL OF THE BONDS - $56 , 305 ,000 - COLORADO LOCAL
SINGLE FAMILY MORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS (CITY AND COUNTY OF
DENVER, COLORADO, ISSUER; GNMA MORTGAGE-BACKED SECURITIES
PROGRAM) SERIES 1988A
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has heretofore entered into an Intergovernmental
Cooperative Agreement, dated as of October 15 , 1988 , with the City
and County of Denver ( "Denver") , pursuant to which Denver will
issue the above-referenced Bonds , and
WHEREAS , in accordance with the Intergovernmental Cooperative
Agreement, $1 ,523 ,960 of the proceeds of such Bonds are to be made
available to finance residential facilities located within the
County for low- and middle-income families and persons intended
for use as the sole place of residence by the owners thereof (the
"Project") , and
WHEREAS, in order to satisfy the requirements of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986 , as amended, relating to public approval of
the Bonds, the Board of County Commissioners, upon at least
fourteen days notice published in a local newspaper of general
circulation, has conducted a public hearing providing reasonable
opportunity for interested individuals to express their views
relating to the issue of Bonds and the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the issuance of the
Bonds for the Project be, and hereby is, approved.
