RE: ACTION OF BOARD REGARDING REQUEST OF WAYNE D. , MARIANNE, AND
DAVID WOLFE FOR ACCESS IMPROVEMENT ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 98
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Wayne D. , Marianne, and David Wolfe have submitted a
request to the Board concerning access improvement on Weld County
Road 98 , and
WHEREAS , after review, the Board deems it advisable to refer
said request to the Engineering Department for recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Wayne
D. , Marianne, and David N. Wolfe concerning access improvement on
Weld County Road 98 be, and hereby is , referred to the Engineering
Department for recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
July, A.D. , 1986.

RE: Road Improvement
Gentlemen:
As owner of the SW} , Section 31 , T9N, R67W of the 6th p.m. ,
Weld County, Colorado, I am requesting access improvement
because I intend to start construction of a home at the SE
corner of said quarter section. Application has been made
for the building permit.
I have been assured by your secretary (via telephone
6-24-86) that Weld County possesses the right-of-way along
said portion of County Road No. 98 .
It would be my desire that ± one/half mile of County Road 98
(beginning at the Larimer/Weld County line and progressing
eastward) be improved and maintained by the County. The
purpose would be to provide reasonable access to and from
the subject property. The proposed construction will be two
rural residences with appurtenant structures. It is also
intended that power transmission lines will be installed in
the near future (PSC) .
Although ± 3 . 5 acres (in the extreme SE/c of the SWi of
Section 31) might be set aside for this particular building
site , it remains an intergal part of the total quarter
section and I see no need for any rezoning action.
Representatives of the Building Permit Inspection Department
of Weld County have advised me that this matter can be
handled through a "Subdivision Exemption" for the purpose
intended (primarily to acquire a construction loan) .
Your attention and timely response to this matter is greatly
appreciated.
