On January 16, Sunshine Valley -Petroleum Corporation filed an Application for
Amendment to Use by Stecial Review 717:85:64 with the Weld County Planning
Department. Pursuant to a Resolution of the Board dated June -6, 1984,
Sunshine Valley respectfully reiluests preadvertising in connection with this
Application.
She compelling reason for preadvertising is to avoid any further inconvenience
to the landowners upon whose lands six oil anf gas wells have been drilled but
not completed (fending outcome of the Application) . The involved lands are
being farmed, and these lands must be restored promptly in order that they may
be properly pre-pared Tor early planting. Restoration, however, must await
completion, which will be delayed pending the outcome of the Amendment
request. Preadvertising will expedite the review process and hence henefit
not only Sunshine Valley, which has invert-d over one-half million dollars not
yet yielding any return, but alsc thin involved surface owners, both as to
return of their lands to farmija and as to receipt of royalties.
Sunshine Valley herby agrees to pay all costs associated with the
preadvertisement.
Your prompt attention to this request will be sincerely appreciated.
Cordially,
William G. Crews
