Home My WebLink About890771.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE AUTHORIZATION FOR DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS BUILDING - AUGUSTIN AND FRANK PEREZ WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on July 26 , 1989 , the Department of Planning Services informed the Board that a building considered to be dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is on property described as Lot 33 , Espanola Subdivision, Weld County, Colorado, located at 1503 North 25th Avenue Court, Greeley, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services has advised the Board that, despite efforts by the Planning staff, Augustin and Frank Perez have not demolished or removed the dangerous building from the property, and WHEREAS, the Board deemes it advisable to direct the Purchasing Director to seek bids for the demolition of said building by a private contractor, and WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable and in the best interests of the citizens of Weld County to set October 11 , 1989 , as the date to consider recovering the cost of the demolition work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Purchasing Director be, and hereby is, authorized to seek bids for demolition work to remove the dangerous building still located on the hereinabove mentioned property.
