RE: APPOINTMENT OF HEARING OFFICER FOR GRIEVANCE HEARING,
PURSUANT TO THE WELD COUNTY PERSONNEL POLICY HANDBOOK, WELD
COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 118 , AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section E. 3 . , entitled "Hearing Officer"
in the "Employee Grievances" portion of Weld County Ordinance 118 ,
as amended, and found on page 17 of the Weld County Personnel
Policy Handbook, the Board of County Commissioners must appoint a
hearing officer by Resolution for any grievance hearing for an
employee requesting one pursuant to the procedures set forth
therein, and
WHEREAS , a Weld County employee has requested a grievance
hearing in a personnel matter, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Personnel Department has ascertained
that Don Hoff has time available to hear said grievance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Don Hoff is hereby
appointed as a grievance hearing officer for an upcoming
grievance, pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Weld County
Personnel Policy Handbook, Weld County Ordinance No. 118 , as
amended.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
December, A.D. , 1989 .
