RE: EIAF #1232 - Weld Communications
Dear Commissioner Johnson:
The State Impact Assistance Advisory Committee reviewed the County's
request for Impact Assistance funding at its recent meeting in
Denver. The committee recommended the project be partially funded.
I concur with that recommendation and am offering to enter into a
grant contract in the amount of $75,000 to enable some of the higher
priority elements of the project to be accomplished.
Although I am making no commitment to future requests, I am willing
to entertain requests for improvements to the system in future years
if the Commissioners and local review team still view the project as
a local priority for funding.
To initiate contract procedures please contact Don Sandoval of our
Loveland office at 532-4501.
Be aware that no State funds are obligated until a grant contract
is properly executed. Funds expended prior to the execution of a
contract may not be reimbursed by the State.
