Dear Mr. Tateyama:
This letter is in response to your letter dated May 19, 1986, regarding
dividing off some of the land associated with USR-490. The staff has
reviewed the proposal and determined that this would not constitute a major
change in USR-490:85:5 and therefore you would not be required to amend
USR-490:82:5.
The Recorded Exemption application will be reviewed on its own merits when
it is submitted.

Gentlemen:
I own a 4.77 acre parcel also known as Lot "A" of Recorded Exemption 490.
This property provides a residence for myself, as well as a sorting,
packaging, shipping facility for our family-oriented commercial onion
business.
At this time I have a need to sever this parcel to create a 3.761 acre parcel
on which the business will be located, and a 1 acre parcel on which my
personal residence will be located.
Five years have lapsed since the creation of RE-490, and we feel this property
should be eligible to be divided by the recorded exemption process. The
operation of our business will be handled exactly as it has been in the past.
Therefore, we request that the existing Use By Special Review variance be left
unchanged until we notify the County of any such changes. Attached is a
survey plat of the proposed property boundries.
Please notify my agent and myself of your decision at your earliest possible
convenience.
