ON PROPERTIES OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.
Commissioner Warren offered the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
Whereas 'field County has in past years acquired by
Treasurer's deed under tax sales, and now is the owner and
possessed of considerable lands in u'Jeld County,Colorado; and
dhereas discovery has disclosed definite indications
of oil, gas and other minerals on much of said lands; that
by reason thereof this Board of County Commissioners believe it
to be to the best interest of the county and hereby declare it
to be the policy and purpose of the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County on all county lands now owned by 'geld County,
Colorado or hereafter acquired by it, offered for sale on and
after November 10, 1942, to reserve to the county as grantor, the
oil, gas and other minerals therein, unless same be separately
and specifically listed in the bid, advertisement, sale and deed
therefor; provided however, such reserved oil, gas and other
minerals, if separately and specifically listed in the bid,
advertisement and sale, may be sold by Weld County either in the
same bid, sale and deed as lands, or in separate bids, sales and
deeds for said oil, gas and other minerals, only.
