RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 1021 - ROY AND SHIRLEY JOHNSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 29th day of May, 1985 , considered the request of
Roy and Shirley Johnson for a mobile home to be used as a
principal dwelling, and
WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be occupied in an
A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of land being more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the NW4, Section 35 , Township 4 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners , having heard the
testimony, finds that said request should be granted subject to
the following conditions: 1) The applicant shall apply for a
building permit for the mobile home within thirty days from the
date of approval by the Board of County Commissioners; and 2) The
mobile home shall not be occupied until such time that the
applicant has complied with the above mentioned condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Roy
and Shirley Johnson for permission to place a mobile home to be
used as a principal dwelling on the above described parcel of
land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the
Weld County Zoning Ordinance, be, and hereby is, granted subject
to the hereinabove listed conditions .

Legal Description of Parcel: Pt. NWZ of Section 35, T4N, R66W of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
Location: Approximately 11 miles southeast of Gilcrest, south of Weld
County Road 40 and east of Weld County Road 33.
The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons:
WILL WILL NOT
X Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive
Plan.
X Be compatible with the surrounding area.
X Be in harmony with the character of the
neighborhood.
X Adversely affect the immediate area.
X Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal
facilities.
X Adversely affect the general health, safety and
welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the
County.
COMMENTS:
The Department of Planning Services has received no objections to this
application.
The Department of Planning Services staff recommendation for approval is
conditional upon the following:
1 . The applicant applying for a building permit for the mobile home within
thirty (30) days from the date of approval by the Board of County
Commissioners.
2. The mobile home shall not be occupied until such time that the
applicant has complied with Condition 1 above.

Dear Sir,
I am writing you to request a zoning permit to put a double
wide mobile home on my farm. The legal discription of my farm
is: the NWa of section 35, township 4, range 66 with Weld County
Road 40 running east and west, and Weld County Road 33 running
north and south.
We have received a demolition permit from the county to tear
down an existing house that is now on this plot of land that we
wish to place the mobile home. We have also applied for a septic
permit (#850047) through the Weld County Health Department to
install a suitable sewage disposal system. We are also in the
process or re-registering the existing private well through the
state.
I need the mobile home there for my son and daughter-in-law
to live. I do general farming with cattle work. My son is
employed full-time by me, and I need him on the farm to help me.
• The home is only for my son to have a place to live so he will be
close to help my farming operation run smoother and produce better
results faster than if I were doing all the work myself.
Please let me know of your decision on this matter. I will
be waiting to hear from you.
