Moved by Lydia Dunbar that the following resolution be introduced for

Commissioners, a resubdivision plat shall be submitted,
illustrating the effected lot lines in the subdivision. The plat
shall be drawn in accordance with Section 6-1 B. of the Weld
county Subdivision Regulations.
2. No building or electrical permits shall be issued on the property
until the resubdivision plat has been delivered to the Department
of Planning Services' office and the plat is ready to be recorded
in the office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder.
This recommendation is based, in part, upon a review of the application
submitted by the applicant, other relevant information regarding the
request and the responses of the referral entities which have reviewed
this request.

A regular meeting of the Weld County Planning Commission was held on May 6,
1986, in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, Weld County Centennial
Building, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. The meeting was called to
order by the chairman, Jack Holman, at 1:45 p.m.

APPEARANCE:
Gerry McRae, P.E. , McRae and Short, Inc. , represented the applicants. The
purpose of this request is to vacate Delaware Street. It has never been
used and has become overgrown with weeds, etc. The resubdivision will just
abandon the street and add the right-of-way to the lots on each side of the
street.

The Chairman asked if they had reviewed the recommendation, conditions, and
Development Standards as outlined by the Department of Planning Services
staff. They stated they have and have no objections to conditions as
outlined.
The Chairman called for discussion from the audience.
Bob Fortner, applicant, reported he has helped Mr. Strubel put in another
access to his chicken house. He is the only one who used this street and
that was only on the far end.
The Chairman asked that reading of the recommendations, conditions, and
Development Standards as outlined by the Department of Planning Services
staff be dispensed with and that they be filed with the summary as a
permanent record of these proceedings.
MOTION:
Lydia Dunbar moved Case Number S-260:86:5 for Robert L. Fortner for a
resubdivision of Part of Lots 4 and 5, Block 1; part of Lots 1 and 8, Block
2; part of Lots 4 and 5, Block 3; part of Lots 1 and 8, Block 4 (Delaware
Street) in Ranch Eggs Subdivision, Second filing, be forwarded to the Board
of County Commissioners with the Planning Commission's recommendation for
approval based upon the recommendations, conditions, and Development
Standards as outlined by the Department of Planning Services staff and the
testimony heard by the members of the Planning Commission. Motion seconded
by Doug Graff.
The Chairman called for discussion from the members of the Planning
Commission. Discussion followed.
The Chairman asked the secretary to poll the members of the Planning

The Dacono Area Fire Protection District has reviewed the application
for abandonment of the portion of Delaware Street, submitted by

protection or ingress or egress of the area.

1. The description of the street hereby petitioned for Vacation is as follows!
That portion of South Delaware Street lying between Weld County
