RE: APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REPORTS FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Quarterly
Performance Reports concerning the Community Development Block
Grant Program for certain communities in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Quarterly Performance Reports, copies being attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quarterly
Performance Reports concerning the Community Development Block
Grant Program for certain communities in Weld County be , and
hereby are, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be , and
hereby is , authorized to sign said Reports.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
July, A.D. , 1985 .

Reporting Period:
January 1 through March 31 , 19_ July 1 through Sept. 30, 19
April 1 through June 30, 1985 Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 , 19
1 . What has been undertaken and/or completed during the reporting
period? How does this progress relate to "milestones" contained in
the approved project schedule?
We have conducted outreach activities throughout the quarter and
received 25 applications. Of the 25 applications, five have been
approved and are being processed. We are behind schedule due to
a late start and delay in receiving ample applications.
2. What will be undertaken and/or completed during the next reporting
period? How does this projected progress relate to -575—"milestones"
contained in the approved project schedule?
The next quarter should have five units under rehabilitation and/or
completed by September 1985 for Kersey. We intend to expand the
boundries of the program to a new area to secure adequate applications.
3. Have any complaints been received or have problems or issues
developed related to financial management, environmental review,
civil rights, labor standards, displacement/acquisition/relocation or
other matters? If so, how have these been or how will these be
resolved? •
No complaints have been received.
4. What, if any, additional technical assistance is needed to
successfully complete the project?
Continued technical assistance is needed on cost estimates and work
write-ups.

1. What has been undertaken and/or completed during the reporting
period? How does this progress relate to "milestones" contained in
the approved project schedule?
The Weld County Housing Authority has visited three manufacturing
plants for mobile/modular homes. We have also drawn up specific
bid information, requested and received bids from all manufacturers
in Northern Colorado. We requested bids from thirty five dealers in
a six county area. This conforms to the amended milestone schedule
of August 31, 1985.
2. What will be undertaken and/or completed during the next reporting
period? How does this projected progress relate to tie"milestones"
contained in the approved project schedule?
We have upended bids and will award bid, have home manufactured,
moved on site and set up. We will close this project out during
the next reporting period.
3. Have any complaints been received or have problems or issues '
developed related to financial management, environmental review,
civil rights, labor standards, displacement/acquisition/relocation or
other matters? If so, how have these been or how will these be

resolved?
No compl ints, problems, or issues have developed relating to the
above mentioned items.
4. What, if any, additional technical assistance is needed to
successfully complete the project?
None required.
