RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO POLICY CONCERNING FUGITIVE DUST CONTROL
ON WELD COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated February 17,
1988, adopt a Policy concerning Fugitive Dust Control on Weld
County Roads, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Section 2, Subsection
'E' , of said Policy be amended to read as follows:
E) Individuals that choose to apply dust control
chemicals will be responsible for knowing the
content and reporting that information in writing
to the Weld County Road and Bridge Department.
Individuals will also be responsible for the
application of the chemicals and any damage that
may occur from the use of the chemicals.

WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Section 2 , Subsection
'E' , of the Policy concerning Fugitive Dust Control on Weld County
Roads be, and hereby is, amended as hereinabove stated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
December, A.D. , 1989.

Please place the following item on the Board's next agenda:
Subsection 'E' , Section 2 of the policy concerning Fugitive Dust Control
on Weld County Roads should to be changed to read as follows:
E) Individuals that choose to apply dust control chemicals will be
responsible for knowing the content and reporting that
information in writing to the Weld County Road and Bridge
Department. Individuals will also be responsible for the
application of the chemicals and any damage that may occur from
the use of the chemicals.
The only change in the policy substitutes "the Weld County Road and Bridge
Department" for "the Weld County Engineering Department". In all other
respects the policy is the same as adopted by resolution on February 17,
1988.
