RE: DENY REQUEST FOR PLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON WELD
COUNTY ROAD 21 AT INTERSECTION WITH WELD COUNTY ROAD 8
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a request for the placement of "Stop" signs on Weld
County Road 21 at its intersection with Weld County Road 8 has
been received , and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department, after completion of a
traffic count at this interesection, has recommended that the
Board deny said request, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to deny
said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request for the
placement of "Stop" signs on Weld County Road 21 at its
intersection with Weld County Road 8 be , and hereby is , denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
January, A.D. , 1989 .
