Home My WebLink About880140.tiff RESOLUTION RE' APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING TO CONSIDER REQUEST OF KENNETH BURNHAM, ET AL. , FOR A SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 24th day of February, 1988 , at the hour of 2 : 00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of considering the request of Kenneth Burnham, et al. , for a Special Review permit for an airport in the A. A public hearing was conducted on February 24, 1988, at 2:00 P.M. , with the following present: Commissioner Gene Brantner, Chairman - Excused Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem - Excused Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison Planning Department representative, Keith Schuett The following business was transacted: Prior to this hearing, Commissioner Lacy was selected as Acting Chairman. I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 8, 1988, and duly published February 11 , 1988, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Kenneth Burnham, et al. for a Special Review permit for an airport in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. With only three Commissioners being present, the applicants were advised by Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, that this request requires three affirmative votes and they could either proceed with the hearing today or request a continuance until more Commissioners will be present. Mr. Morrison made this matter of record. Kenneth Burnham, Jr. came forward to represent the applicants. He requested a continuance of this hearing. Commissioner Johnson moved to continue this matter to Monday, February 29, at 9:30 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Yamaguchi and carried unanimously. This Certification was approved on the 29th day of February, 1988.
