RE: CREATION OF NORTHMOOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-1
A public hearing was conducted on July 6, 1988, at 2:00 P.M. , with the
following present:
Commissioner Gene Brantner, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker
Director of Engineering Services, Drew Scheltinga
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 25, 1988, and duly
published June 1, 1988, in the Platteville Herald, a public hearing was
conducted to consider creation of a local improvement district, to be
known as Weld County Northmoor Local Improvement District No. 1988-1.
Bruce Barker, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record and
said a Resolution has been prepared containing the necessary findings
for the creation of this district. Drew Scheltinga, Director of
Engineering Services, stated that his department has completed its
research, and the plans remain the same as those presented at the
preliminary hearing concerning this matter. He explained the work
which will be done on portions of Weld County Roads 44, 11, and 42, and
said the projected cost to be charged to the proposed district remains
at $113,300. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Lacy moved to make the necessary findings and adopt the
Resolution creating Weld County Northmoor Local Improvement District
No. 1988-1. Commissioner Kirby seconded the motion and expressed his
appreciation for the cooperation received from those involved in
creating this district. The motion carried unanimously
