RE: APPROVE VACATION OF RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 641 - VESSELS OIL
AND GAS COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated October 12 , 1983 ,
approve Recorded Exemption No. 641 for Vessels Oil & Gas Company
on property described as the SE} , Section 28 , Township 1 North,
Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Vessels Oil
and Gas Company to vacate said Recorded Exemption No. 641 , in
order to correct a violation of the Weld County Subdivision
Regulations, and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation from the Department of Planning
Services, the Board deems it appropriate to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request from
Vessels Oil and Gas Company to vacate Recorded Exemption No. 641
be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that approval of said
vacation is conditional upon Vessels Oil and Gas Company
submitting a purported deed indicating that the land is one parcel
of 60 .5 acres , more or less.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
July, A.D. , 1988 .

Dear Commissioners:
Vessels Oil and Gas Company is requesting that the Board vacate Recorded
Exemption 641. Approval of this request will correct a violation of the
Subdivision Regulations. The staff would request that the approval be
conditioned upon Vessels Oil and Gas Company submitting to the Department of
Planning Services a copy of a purported deed indicating that the land is one
parcel of 60.5 acres, more or less.

Please consider this letter as the formal request of VOG for Vaca-
tion of Recorded Exemption No. 641 , subject to the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County approving an exemption for the enlarged unit
containing 60.5 acres, more or less , substantially as set forth in the
Proposed Form of Resolution enclosed herewith.
Also, pursuant to your request, I am enclosing a purported deed ,
which I will cause to be executed and recorded upon being advised by
you that the deed sets forth all the specific information required for
purposes of conforming with your Zoning Regulation.

RE: APPROVAL OF RECORDED EXEMPTION NO.
VESSELS OIL & GAS COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule
Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of
Weld County, Colorado , and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Commission-
ers at a public meeting held in the Chambers of the Board, that the
division into two parcels of land, as shown on the plat known as Record-
ed Exemption No. , having been requested by Vessels Oil & Gas
Company, described as the Southeast %G, Section 28, Township 1 North .
Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, being more partic-
ularly described in the plat which shall be provided by the applicant
and known as Exhibit "A" , said plat to be recorded, does not come with-
in the purview of the definition of the terms , "subdivision" and "subdi-
vided land" , pursuant to its authority under Section 30-28-101(10)(d) ,
CRS 1973, as amended, and
WHEREAS, this request is to divide the above described quarter
section into two parcels, the first being 60.5 acres, more or less, and
identified as parcels A and B on Exhibit "A" and the second being the
remaining 93.5 acres, more or less, and
WHEREAS, in October of 1983, Subdivision Exemption No. 641 concern-
ing parcel B on Exhibit "A" was approved, said Subdivision Exemption
No. 641 contained 25.5 acres of land which are now being incorporated
with parcel A of this Recorded Exemption to form one 60.5 acre parcel ,
and
WHEREAS, the approval of Recorded Exemption No. shall be
conditional upon Subdivision Exemption No. 641 being vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commission-
ers of Weld County, Colorado that the hereinabove described parcels A
and B of land as joined, be , and hereby are, exempt from the definition
of the terms "subdivision" and "subdivided land" .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that this approval is condi-
tional upon Subdivision Exemption No. 641 being vacated.

tion No. 29 contained three acres of land which are now being

be conditional upon Subdivision Exemption No. 29 being vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the hereinabove de-
