RE: DENY REQUEST CONCERNING ACCESS IMPROVEMENT ON PORTION OF WELD
COUNTY ROAD 98 - WAYNE, MARIANNE, & DAVID WOLFE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Wayne D. , Marianne, and David Wolfe submitted a
request to the Board concerning access improvement on Weld County
Road 98 , beginning at the Larimer/Weld County line and progressing
eastward for one-half mile, said request being referred to the
Engineering Department for recommendation on July 2 , 1986 , and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the recommendation of the Engineering
Department, the Board deemed it advisable to deny said request and
notify the Wolfes of said denial by letter, and
WHEREAS, said letter of denial was mailed to Wayne D. Wolfe
on August 1 , 1986 , a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, at the Board meeting of September 15 , 1986 , the
Board formally denied the request of Wayne D. , Marianne, and David
Wolfe for access improvement on a certain portion of Weld County
Road 98 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request from
Wayne, Marianne , and David Wolfe for access improvement on that
portion of Weld County Road 98 as hereinabove described be, and
hereby is , denied as stated in the letter of August 1 , 1986.

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
September, A.D. , 1986 .

RE: Improvement and Maintenance of Weld County Road 98, Beginning at the
Larimer/Weld County Line and Progressing Eastward for One-Half Mile
Dear Mr. Wolfe:
This letter is in response to your letter of June 25, 1986, concerning your
request for improvement and maintenance of Weld County Road 98, beginning at
the Larimer/Weld County Line and progressing eastward for one-half mile.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has decided to deny
your request. The Board believes that it does not have has the resources nor
the duty to provide improvement and maintenance along that stretch of Weld
County Road 98.
