RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF SHOW CAUSE HEARING TO CONSIDER
REVOCATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW /598 ISSUED TO VESSELS
OIL AND GAS COMPANY
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on February 19 , 1986 , a Show Cause Hearing was
conducted to consider revocation of Use by Special Review /598
issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company, and
WHEREAS , at said hearing, the Planning Department advised the
Board that Vessels Oil and Gas Company has applied for an Amended
Use by Special Review and requested that this matter be continued.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , that the hearing to
consider revocation of Use by Special Review #598 , issued to
Vessels Oil and Gas Company, be, and hereby is , continued to
February 26 , 1986 , at 2 :00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
February, A.D. , 1986 .

A public hearing was conducted on February 19, 1986, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner C.W. Kirby
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tommie Antuna
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Keith Schuett
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 9, 1985, and
duly published October 31, 1985, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public
hearing was conducted to consider the revocation of Use by Special
Review #598 issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company. Lee Morrison,
Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. Keith Schuett,
representing the Planning Department, said that an amended Use by
Special Review has been applied for by Vessels Oil and Gas Company;
therefore, he requested that this matter be continued. Commissioner
Lacy moved to continue this hearing to February 26, 1986. Commissioner
Brantner seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 24th day of February, 1986.
