HomeMy WebLinkAbout880970.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WARRANTY DEED WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners acquired through a warranty deed, property described as SE* of Section 1 , Township 5 North, Range 65 West, of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, Weld County no longer needs said property and wishes to declare it as surplus, and WHEREAS, the Board has been advised that the State Department of Highways , Division of Highways, State of Colorado, desires to purchase the above described property, and WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to declare said property as surplus and accept the offer made by the State Department of Highways. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board does hereby declare the hereinabove described property as surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby accept the offer from the State Department of Highways, Division of Highways, State of Colorado, to purchase said property.
