\ . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO, THAT SECTIONS OF ORDINANCES NO. 118-G AND 118-H
ARE AMENDED OR DELETED AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
o Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home

V} ral Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
a affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the power and
o a authority under the Weld County Home Rule Charter and the Colorado
no County Home Rule Powers Act, Article 35 of Title 30, C.R.S. , as
w amended, and in specific, under Section 30-35-201 (7) , C.R.S . , as
amended, to adopt by ordinance, personnel policy rules and
m a regulations for the County of Weld, and

03Z WHEREAS, Weld County Ordinance No. 118-G, the Weld County
\ w Personnel Policy Handbook, which repealed and reenacted Ordinance
op No. 118, as amended, became effective on March 29, 1988 , and
rn WHEREAS, Weld County Ordinance No. 118-H, which amended and
co w deleted Sections of Ordinance No. 118-G, the Weld County Personnel
Policy Handbook, became effective on June 27 , 1988 , and

N WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
hereby finds and determines that there is a need to amend and
a delete certain sections of Weld County Ordinances No. 118-G and
118-H, and that such amendments to and deletions from said
o d' Ordinances are for the benefit of the health, safety, and welfare
N W of the people of Weld County.

� [y NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the following
sections of Weld County Ordinances No. 118-G and 118-H are amended
or deleted as follows:
Delete all of paragraph "B" under "COMPENSATION FOR
OVERTIME WORKED" on page 24 of the Weld County Personnel Policy
Handbook (Ordinance No. 118-G) , and substitute the following:

employees, as classified in accordance

(FLSA) , accrue overtime at the rate of

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance No. 118-I is

Section 3-14 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, because there
o is an immediate need for the policies and procedures contained
as herein to govern the FLSA provisions of the Weld County Personnel
