Rhinesmith ector, Information Services Agency Compensation for Overtime by Alice Seeton Subject The purpose of this memorandum is to request a special dispensation regarding the reimbursement of overtime worked by Alice Seeton during the period of December 1984 to February 1985. During the period noted above, Alice worked a total of 91.4 hours overtime. This overtime was necessary to assist the installation of the new computer equipment and operating system in the Computer Services Department. The timeliness of this project is such that Weld County will incur significant additional expenses should the project be delayed. Due to the staffing problems in the Technical Services area, it was necessary to assign a large portion of this work to Alice, even though we were aware she could soon be terminating her employment with Weld County. As it has happened, Alice has given notice she is terminating her employment at Weld County effective the last week in March. In addition, the other experienced member of the Technical Services staff, Larry Watkins, has also terminated employment effective March 22, 1985. As a result, I find it necessary to request Alice to continue to work full time up to her termination. Given the above circumstances, I feel justified in requesting that Alice be monetarily compensated for the full 91.4 hours overtime she has accrued during the aforementioned time period. cc: Randy Evans, Technical Services Manager, Weld County Computer Services Hello
