Attention: Gordon Lacy, Chairman
Dear Mr. Lacy:
Weld County approval is requested to conduct foot road races over the county
road system in and about the towns of Windsor and Severance on Saturday,
April 11, 1987,
As in past years, the Northern Colorado Running Club (NCRC) will be conducting
the Half Marathon and 5K Races. Both races will start in the Windsor City
Park, the Half Marathon at 9:30 and the 5K at 9:45. The Half Marathon should
last approximately two hours.
A map of the race courses is attached. Both races will be run on the left
shoulder of the road allowing runners to face traffic on all county roads
used. The NCRC will provide traffic control assistance at major intersections,
and Lt. Sanderson of the Colorado State Patrol has reviewed traffic control
needs with the Sheriff's Dept.
We look forward to your approval. Feel free to call if you have any
questions.
Thank you very much,
