RESOLUTION
RE: SETTING OF WORK RELEASE RATES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Sheriff operates a work release
program in the county jail, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have
established a $20.00 (Twenty Dollar) per week fee to inmates to
defray costs of the special program, and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has recommended that the weekly fee
be increased to $40.00 (Forty Dollars) per week because of the
cost of the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the fee for the
work release program is hereby increased from Twenty Dollars
($20.00) per week per participating inmate to Forty Dollars
($40.00) per week per participating inmate.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
October, A.D. , 1985 .
