The Soil Conserva- tion Office, Brighton, has indicated this would give us good ground cover. Wind break trees will be planted during the spring of 1986 along the west side and the north corner of the lot. This will consist of a mixture of willow trees and evergreens. The willow trees will help to control the surface moisture in this part of our parcel of land. The evergreen will provide year-round wind break. The "open pen" area for the dogs run will consist of a conrete floor, 6' fencing, and gravel (mixed size) approximately 4' in width around the out- side parameters of the run for filtration when the run is hosed down. This will control any possible soil erosion in this area, either from cleaning/sanitizing the pens or from heavy rainfalls. Trees will be placed both to the east and west sides of the kennel area (east of the area where the cats are housed for shade and landscaping pur- poses, and on the west side for shade and screening purposes) . A copy of this plan has been sent to the Brighton District Office of the Soil Conservation Service, attention: R. Bell , for purposes of review and/or concurrence or comments as necessary. This plan is respectfully submitted for the purpose of completion of the requirements as stated in the Weld County Planning Commission Standards set forth regarding this case. n 2 , 19 n lY.v.c-- Date Signature of Applicant(s) 141\ Applicants: David H. and Betty L.
