RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF SHOW CAUSE HEARING TO CONSIDER
REVOCATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW #598 ISSUED TO VESSELS
OIL AND GAS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on February 26 , 1986 , a Show Cause Hearing was
conducted to consider revocation of Use by Special Review #598
issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company, and
WHEREAS , at said hearing, the Planning Department requested
that this matter be continued to allow the Board to make a
decision regarding the Amended Use by Special Review for which
Vessels Oil and Gas Company has applied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to
consider revocation of Use by Special Review #598 , issued to
Vessels Oil and Gas Company, be, and hereby is, continued to March
19 , 1986 , at 2: 00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
February, A.D. , 1986.

A public hearing was conducted on February 26, 1986, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner C.W. Kirby
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria V. Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 9, 1985, and
duly published October 31, 1985, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public
hearing was conducted to consider revocation of Use by Special Review
#598, issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company. Lee Morrison, Assistant
County Attorney, made this matter of record. Commissioner Lacy moved
to continue this matter to March 19, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. , at which time
a hearing will also be held to consider amending this Use by Special
Review. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Kirby and carried
unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 3rd day of March, 1986.
