RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION OF $100 .00 TO WELD COUNTY
SHERIFF'S OFFICE BY DELBERT MEDFORD, 2621 WEST C STREET,
GREELEY, COLORADO 80631
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Delbert Medford has donated $100 .00 , to the Weld
County Jail AA group which is to be used to purchase AA books and
materials for the AA program, and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept
all donations via Resolution .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of
$100 .00 by Delbert Medford, 2621 West C Street, Greeley, Colorado
80631 , be, and hereby is, accepted and designated for use by the
Weld County Jail AA group.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this
Resolution, along with a letter of appreciation, be forwarded to
Delbert Medford.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
January, A.D. , 1989 .

RE: Donation of Funds
I have received a check in the amount of $100 from Mr. Delbert Medford. Mr.
Medford chooses to donate $100 to one of the AA groups in his area each
year. This year he chose our Weld County Jail group.
We would request that the County Commissioners accept this donation and
designate the funds to purchase AA books and materials for the AA program.
