RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR WATER SERVICES WITH TOWN OF KEOTA AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Weld County is in need of a water hookup and water
to be supplied to a mobile home being placed on certain lots in
Keota for County road purposes , and
WHEREAS , the Town of Keota has agreed to donate a water
hookup and provide water to said mobile home, and
WHEREAS , the Board has been presented with an Agreement for
Water Services with the Town of Keota, and
WHEREAS , the terms and conditions are as stated in said
Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, and
WHEREAS , after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement for
Water Services with the Town of Keota be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Agreement.

AGREEMENT FOR WATER SERVICES
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 22nd day of
June , 1987, by and between the COUNTY OF WELD, STATE
OF COLORADO, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Weld, hereinafter called "County, " and the TOWN OF
KEOTA, COLORADO, hereinafter called "Keota. "
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, County has recently placed or intends to place a
mobile home on certain lots in Keota for County road purposes, and
WHEREAS, County is therefore in need of a water hookup to
said mobile home and is in need of water to be supplied to said
mobile home, and
WHEREAS, Keota currently has the capacity to provide both a
water hookup and to supply said water, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld has the power to enter into agreements with other local
governments, pursuant to Section 29-1-203, C.R.S. , and Section 2-3
of the Weld County Home Rule Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE , for and in consideration of the promises and
the mutual covenants contained herein, County and Keota agree as
follows:
1 . Keota agrees to donate to County a water hookup for
County' s mobile home to be placed upon Lots 8 , 9 , 10 , and/or 19,
Block 35 , Le Roy' s Keota, and to provide water to said mobile home
for no charge.
2. That this Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely
until such time as the parties may wish to terminate the same as
provided in paragraph 3 below.

3. Either party hereto may terminate this Agreement upon
ninety (90) day written notice to the other party.
