Home My WebLink About870380.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING TO CONSIDER REQUEST OF DOUBLE EIGHT LAND CORPORATION FOR A USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW FOR A LIVESTOCK CONFINEMENT OPERATION FOR 3 ,000 HEAD WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 13th day of May, 1987 , at the hour of 2 : 00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of considering the request of Double Eight Land Corporation for a Use by Special Review for a livestock confinement operation for 3 , 000 head, and WHEREAS , the Board was informed by the Department of Planning Services that a sign informing the public of said hearing was not posted ten days prior to said hearing, as required , and WHEREAS, it was deemed advisable to continue said hearing to May 20 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to consider the request of Double Eight Land Corporation for a Use by Special Review for a livestock confinement operation for 3 , 000 head be, and hereby is, continued to May 20, 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of May, A.D. , 1987. Morrison Planning Department representative, Rod Allison The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 13, 1987, and duly published April 30, 1987, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Double Eight Land Corporation to amend a Use by Special Review for a 3,000 head livestock confinement operation. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. Rod Allison, representing the Planning Department, stated that the applicant did not post a sign on the premises at least ten days prior to this hearing, as required, and he recommended that this hearing be continued to May 20, at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Johnson moved to continue this hearing to May 20, at 2:00 p.m. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Brantner, carried unanimously.
