U Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the

WHEREAS, the Board has been advised that because of a
typographical error the hereinabove mentioned parcel , for which

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Energy Minerals
Corporation shall be refunded the total amount of $3 ,200 . 00 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Oil and Gas
Lease referring to a parcel of land located in the NE} of Section
20 , Township 8 North, Range 60 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado, shall be null and void, said Lease having been recorded
November 3 , 1987, in Book 1175 , as Reception No. 2119834 , Weld
County Records .

Gentlemen:
Energy Minerals Corporation's (Energy's) high bid offer of $20.00 per
net mineral acre, for a total of $3,200.00 (check No. 4946 dated
10/27/87 copy attached) for the above captioned tract was accepted by
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, October 28,
1987.
Energy did not nominate the tract so we did not determine mineral
ownership prior to submitting our bid. After the lease was issued, we
ran title and upon determining Weld County did not own any minerals
under the tract, we had a "Memorandum" prepared by Transamerica Title
Insurance Company. The Memorandum enclosed shows the minerals under
the captioned acreage belong to the United States of America.
It is understood the "Board" doesn't warrant title, however, Energy
Minerals Corporation respectfully requests the Board refund the
$3,200.00.

information.
