RE: APPROVE ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE OF WELD COUNTY ROADS
FOR RACE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in the past, the Board has considered requests from
organizations for the use of Weld County Roads for various types
of races , and
WHEREAS, it has now been determined that no Board action is
necessary , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable that in the future,
when a request concerning the use of Weld County Roads is received
it shall be placed on the Board' s Consent Agenda, under
Communications , and the requesting party shall be advised by the
Clerk to the Board' s Office that said request is to be submitted
to the State Patrol Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , that any request
concerning the use of Weld County Roads for any type of race shall
be placed on the Board' s Consent Agenda under Communications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the requesting party
shall be advised that said request is to be submitted to the State
Patrol Office.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
March, A.D. , 1987.
