Home My WebLink About851053.tiff DISTRICT COURT , COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF COLORADO H c Case No. 84 CV 1137 • ORDER y In The Matter Of The N , CO TRI-AREA AMBULANCE DISTRICT THIS MATTER coming on for further proceeding this 29th day of January , 1985 , on Petition to organize the above-entitled special district , and this Court being fully advised in the prem- ises and after hearing testimony, if any, and the remarks of the Petitioners , and after reviewing the pleadings and exhibits , makes the following Findings and Orders : 1 . That the Petition for organization of the said district is signed by at least 100 taxpaying electors of the proposed district , and is accompanied by Resolution of approval duly adopted by the Board of the County Commissioners of Weld County. 2 . That the Petition is otherwise in conformity with the ' Special District Act ' contained at Title 32 , Article 1 , C .R . S . 1973 , and it appears that the allegation of the Petition are true . 3 . That the Petition includes a general description of The proposed district boundaries and is otherwise complete and correct. 4 . That there has been approved and shall be filed with the Court a surety bond to pay all costs connected with proceedings in this case. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED: 1 . That the question of organization of the proposed spec- ial district be submitted March E , 1985 , at a special election to be held for that purpose in accordance with Part Eight of the Special District Act aforementioned . 2 . That there shall also be elected , at that time a Board of Directors , consisting of seven members chosen by popular vote . Nominations are to be submitted to the Court not less than :'5 days of the election . Of those so elected , the four receivng tre most votes shall serve until they or their successors are e ected and qualified at the second regular election after organization . and the other three shall serve until they or their successors are elected and qualified at the next regular election after or- ganization . 3 . An elector of the proposed district is a person qua ] - ified to vote at a general election in the State of Colorado. , aid who has been a resident of the proposed district for not less than thirty two days ; or who , or whose spouse , owns or has an : _ - terest in the taxable property within the proposed distric- , or a person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract _o pur- chase real property within the proposed district . 4 . The clerk of the District Court is directed to cause Notice of Election to be published , all in accordance with Jaw. 5 . The following persons , being qualified electors of the proposed district , are designated election judges : Delia Robles , Box 641 , Firestone Virginia Deliere , Box 205 , Dacono Florence Stetson , 1078 Mac Davidson Cr .. , Daccnn Hereby designated to receive applications for and to disperse and collect absentee ballots , at the Frederick Town Hall , '.: 3 Fifth Street , Frederick, is Glenda DeSantis , 445 Third Street , Frederick, also being a qualified elector of the proposed d� s- trict . • 6 . BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that the Frederick Town Hall at 333 Fifth Street , Frederick, Colorado, is designated the po : lin: place for said special election . 7 .
