HomeMy WebLinkAbout890943 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed concerning Weld County' s interest in and to all oil and gas underlying the road right-of-way being the tract or parcel of land containing 1.633 acres, more or less in the South Half of Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, being more particularly described as: Beginning at a point on the South line of [the captioned Section] from which point the Southwest corner of said Section 16 bears South 88°12 ' West a distance of 1330.0 feet; thence South 88°12 ' East a distance of 1321 .7 feet; thence North 88°36 ' 30" East along the South line of said Section 16 a distance of 752.8 feet; thence North 0°45 ' West a distance of 34.5 feet; thence South 88°26' West a distance of 2074. 8 feet; thence South 1°15' East a distance of 37.6 feet, more or less to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said Quit Claim Deed to The First National Bank of Greeley, Trustee (under Trust Agreement dated December 30, 1971, for the benefit of Eunice Riggs, Jessie A. Dusin, Settlor) , a copy being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovedescribed Quit Claim Mineral Deed be, and hereby is, approved.
