RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED IN GILCREST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been advised
that a certain parcel of land deeded to Weld County for road
purposes is no longer being used for road purposes , and
WHEREAS, said property is more particularly described as
follows , to-wit:
All that part of Blocks Fifty-five (55)
Fifty-six (56) and Fifty-seven (57) and that
part of the vacated portion of what was First
and Second Streets in the Town of Gilcrest
according to the recorded plat thereof, that
lies Easterly of the West line fence of the
Public Highway known as Highway No. 49 as the
same is now located over and across said above
described property, together with any and all
mineral rights to said property which Weld
County may have acquired
WHEREAS, in order to clear Weld County' s records, the Board
deems it necessary to Quit Claim this property to Henry Keiser,
the current property owner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Chairman of the
Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed from
the County of Weld to Henry Keiser, the present owner of the
surface for the above described property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the above described
parcel shall no longer be considered as tax exempt property.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of
June , A.D. , 1985 .
