RE: ACCEPTANCE OF MAP SUBMITTED BY THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF
HIGHWAYS SHOWING TOTAL MILEAGE OF PUBLIC ROADS IN WELD COUNTY
WHICH ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE HIGHWAY USERS TAX
FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Highways has submitted a
map to Weld County showing the total miles of public roads in Weld
County which have been accepted by the County and are eligible for
participation in the Highways Users Tax Fund, and
WHEREAS , the Board deems it advisable to accept said map
submitted by the Colorado Department of Highways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said map submitted by
the Colorado Department of Highways, concerning the total mileage
of public roads in Weld County which are eligible for
participation in the Highways Users Tax Fund, be, and hereby is,
accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
February, A.D. , 1985 .

Gentlemen:
Weld County accepts the map submitted by
the Colorado Department of Highways on (date) February 1, 1985
which has a total of 3290.4 miles of public roads that have been
accepted by the County and are eligible for participation in the High-
way Users Tax Fund. This mileage consists of 569.5 miles of
County Primary Roads and 2720.9 miles of County Secondary Roads.
In addition, the County has 357.43 miles of public roads that have
been accepted by the County, but are not maintained by the County, which
are not eligible for participation in the Highway Users Tax Fund. This
map and these mileages are in agreement with your recent inventory of
Weld County.
