HomeMy WebLinkAbout851459.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE FUNDING APPLICATION FOR WELD COUNTY BRIDGE WEL 3/42A AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN SAME WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been advised by the County Engineer that Weld County Bridge WEL 3/42A has sustained significant deterioration and must be replaced, and WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to submit a Funding Application to Colorado Counties, Inc. , a copy of said application being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that submittal of a Funding Application for the replacement of Weld County Bridge WEL 3/42A be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said Funding Application. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of April, A.D. , 1985. Bridge WEL 17/44B is priority number one and bridge WEL 3/42A is priority number two. The replacement of these two deficient structures would greatly benefit Weld County.
