RE: BEEBE DRAW LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY BUDGET
A public hearing was conducted on December 11, 1989, at 10:00 A.M. ,
with the following present:
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Chairman
Commissioner Gene R. Brantner, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner George Kennedy - Excused
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Director of Finance and Administration, Donald D. Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 20, 1989, and
duly posted November 20, 1989, a public hearing was conducted to
consider a proposed budget of zero. Don Warden, Director of Finance
and Administration, made this matter of record. He noted that it was
necessary only to post a notice of this hearing, and that no written
comments have been received concerning this matter. Mr. Warden
reviewed the establishment of the Beebe Draw Law Authority. He said
revenues have been levied for the last two years, but the property
value is so low that minimal amounts have been collected, and the cost
of the paperwork has probably exceeded the amount collected. Mr.
Warden stated that, if the property involved should suddenly increase
in value, a "Truth in Taxation" hearing could be held to levy the taxes
necessary for proper administration of the Beebe Draw Law Authority;
therefore, he recommended adoption of a zero budget. No members of the
public were present to comment. Commissioner Lacy moved to accept the
recommendation for adoption of a zero budget. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Brantner, and it carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 13th day of December, 1989.

NOTICE AS TO PROPOSED BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget of zero has been submitted
to the Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority District Board for the ensuing
year of 1990. Such proposed budget will be considered at a special meeting
of the Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority District Board to be held in the
First Floor Assembly Room, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado, on December
11, 1989, at 10:00 a.m.
Any interested elector within such Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority
District may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections
thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.
