RE: ACCEPT CERTAIN PORTION OF OLD STATE HIGHWAY 52 FOR
MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter„ is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 1 , 1964, the abandonment of a portion of
State Highway 52 by the State Highway Department became effective,
said portion being located in Section 5 , Township 1 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Road and Bridge Department is recommending that
the Board accept for maintenance that portion of Old State Highway
52, which is approximately one mile in length, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable
to accept said portion of Old State Highway 52 for maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hereinabove
described portion of Old State Highway 52 , be, and hereby is
accepted for maintenenace by Weld County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of
April , A.D. , 1987.
