RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AUDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND
DELOITTE, HASKINS, AND SELLS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on November 3 , 1986 , the Board did, by Resolution,
approve an Agreement for audit services with Deloitte, Haskins , &
Sells, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph 7 . 3 of the Agreement, the
Board has now been presented with an Amendment to increase the fee
for audit services for the remaining three years of the Agreement,
and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions are as outlined in the
Amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the
Audit Agreement between Weld County and Deloitte, Haskins , & Sells
be, and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
July, A.D. , 1988 .

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
WELD COUNTY AND
DELOITTE, HASKINS , AND SELLS
WHEREAS, on November 3 , 1986 , Weld County and Deloitte,
Haskins, and Sells entered into an agreement for audit services,
and
WHEREAS, paragraph 7 .3 of the agreement provides that by
amendment, the maximum fees for audit services for the third
through fifth year' s audit can be increased, and
WHEREAS , Deloitte, Haskins , and Sells has requested an
amendment agreeable to Weld County to increase the maximum fee
for the third through fifth year ' s audit as follows :
Audit Year Maximum Fee
1988 $57 ,100
1989 60 ,000
1990 62 ,500
NOW, THEREFORE, Weld County and Deloitte, Haskins , and
Sells hereby agree to amend the maximum fee for audit services
in accordance with paragraph 7 .3 of the agreement between both
parties dated November 3 , 1986 , to the following:
Audit Year Maximum Fee
1988 $57 , 100
1989 60 ,000
1990 62 ,500
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties above named have executed
this agreement on the 18 th day of July, A.D. , 1988 .
