RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED BLAW-KNOX LAYDOWN MACHINE CONTROLS
FROM BEST-WAY PAVING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures
require that all used property be purchased by Board Resolution,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Road and Bridge has recommended the
purchase of used Blaw-Knox Laydown Machine Controls , which are
described as one grade and shape control; two grade controls; one
shoe; and one ski, for the total amount of $3 ,600 .00 from Best-Way
Paving Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby authorizes the
purchase of the above described used Blaw-Knox Laydown Machine
Controls from Best-Way Paving Company, in the amount of $3 ,600 .00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
February, A.D. , 1988 .
