RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the County has identified that a 1986 Ford 3/4-Ton
Truck is no longer operable due to an accident and the insurance
company of the party at fault wishes to settle the loss claim by
paying the County $9 , 200. 00 for the vehicle, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby declares the 1986
Ford 3/4-Ton Truck with VIN No. 1FTHF25HXGPB15346 as surplus
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the
settlement of $9, 200 . 00 from Allstate Insurance Company for the
damage to the hereinabove described vehicle.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
April, A.D. , 1987 .
