RESOLUTION
RE: DECLARE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SHERIFF' S DEPARTMENT AS SUR-
PLUS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Sheriff has informed the Board of
County Commissioners that certain items are no longer needed
for use in the Sheriff' s Department, and
WHEREAS, a list of said items is attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to declare said items as surplus
and to authorize their disposal by sealed bid, with the proceeds
being used for the acquisition of standardized and required- new
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the items as itemized
on the list which is attached hereto be, and hereby are, declared
surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that said items are to
be disposed of by sealed bid and the proceeds used for the acqui-
sition of standardized and required. new -equipment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
January, A.D. , 1984.

I am requesting the following items be declared surplus to allow for disposal by
sealed bid. As agreed in the 1984 budget review, proceeds of the sale would be
supplementally appropriated to our equipment budget allocation to permit acquisition
of standardized and required new equipment. Your assistance is appreciated.
