RE: APPROVAL OF APPLICATION TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PUBLIC
UTILITIES COMMISSION CONCERNING CONSTRUCTION OF A SIG-
NALIZED GRADE CROSSING AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN
TO SIGN THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an application to the Public Utilities Commission
concerning the construction of a signalized grade crossing over
the right-of-way and tracks of the Great Western Railroad has
been presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, said signalized grade crossing concerns the fol-
lowing location:
Westerly approximately 100 feet from the
intersection of State Highway 257 and
Weld County Road 66 on the proposed exten-
sion of Weld County Road 66; also being
approximately 100 feet West of the North-
east corner of Section 28 , Township 6
North, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal
Meridian, Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has studied the application and deems
it to be in the best interests of the citizens of Weld County
to submit said application to the Public Utilities Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that approval is hereby
given to submit the application concerning a signalized grade
crossing to the Public Utilities Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman of
the Board is hereby authorized to sign said application.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
June, A.D. , 1980.
