Home My WebLink About830011.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF REFUND TO ENERGY MINERALS CORPORATION CONCERNING SECTION 33 , TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 66 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on the 6th day of January, 1982, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, authorized an Oil and Gas Lease to Energy Minerals Corporation covering the SW 1/4 of Sec- tion 33 , Township 5 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado containing 160 net mineral acres, and WHEREAS, the total sum for said Oil and Gas Lease was $15, 200 together with $1 . 00 per acre annual rental, and WHEREAS, it has been brought to the Board' s attention that Weld County, Colorado owns 149 . 75 net mineral acres and not the 160 net mineral acres in the above described parcel, which was leased to Energy Minerals Corporation, and WHEREAS, Energy Minerals Corporation is requesting a refund for the acquisition cost totaling $973 . 75 and a refund for the 1983-84 rentals totaling $10 . 25, for a total refund sum of $984. 00, and WHEREAS, the Board, after reviewing the request for refund, deems it advisable to approve said refund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request from Energy Minerals Corporation for a refund of $973 . 75 for acquisition cost and $10 . 25 for 1983-84 rentals for a total sum of $984 . 00 be, and hereby is, approved.
