RE: APPOINTMENT OF DR. ROBERT DRENNAN TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists on the Board of Health, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to appoint Dr. Robert Drennan to the Board of Health to fill the
unexpired term of Dr. Herschel Phelps , said term to expire
May 23, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Dr. Robert Drennan be,
and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Health to fill the
unexpired term of Dr. Herschel Phelps, said term to expire
May 23, 1980.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
January, A.D. , 1980.

RE: Appointment to Weld County General Hospital Board of Directors
Honorable Commissioners:
I respectfully submit my name for your consideration to be appointed to
a three year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of Weld County General
Hospital .
A resident of Greeley since September, 1974, I have been professionally
associated with the health care delivery system during that period. My cur-
rent position is that of Executive Director of Centennial Area Health Education
Center. Centennial AHEC is a program to develop and implement continuing
education programs for health professionals at rural sites in Northeast Colorado.
Prior to September, 1978, I was Director of Medical Affairs at Weld County General
Hospital for four years . My doctoral degree is from the University of Iowa in
the areas of health services administration and educational administration. I
was employed by The Gates Rubber Company for 20 years with the last five years
being spent in corporate long-range planning.
I believe my education, work experience, and professional interests would
make a contribution to fulfulling the Board of Trustees ' public interest respon-
sibility. Enclosed is my curriculum vitae which provides additional personal
information.
