RE: AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN DEFERRED COMPENSATION DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has established a Deferred Compensation Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Deferred Compensation Plan offers the deposit of funds in
Empire Savings, Building and Loan Association, and
WHEREAS, Empire Savings, Building and Loan Association, has requested
that Weld County authorize the Director of Finance to act in matters relating
to the Deferred Compensation account with Empire Savings, Building and Loan
Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County that Weld County Deferred Compensation Plan, establish in its name
one or more savings account with Empire Savings, Building and Loan
Association, upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon with said
Association, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Administration,
be, and hereby is, authorized to establish such an account(s), and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following person: Donald D. Warden,
Director of Finance and Administration, be, and hereby is, authorized to act
in all matters relating to said account(s) including, but not limited to,
withdrawal in whole or in part of said account(s) , and the pledging of said
account(s) for any loan made by the Association to this organization, and that
this authority shall continue in force until written notice of its revocation
shall be given to said Association.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of March, A.D. , 1984.
