To this end, we have purchased approximately 140 acres located at the intersection of Weld County Road #17 and Colorado State Highway #66. The property was previously owned by Albert Kurtz and was utilized as a cattle feed yard for up to 11,500 head of cattle. Our dairy farming operation wil involve up to 3,500 head of dairy cattle. We will be milking approximately 2,500 and pasturing approximately 1,000 when we are at full steam. In order to efficiently run a farm such as this, we will need to em- ploy about 33 people. These employees will have a variety of job descrip- tions ranging from farm manager to milkers and maintenance personnel . Some of our employees are considered key to our operation and their ability to respond to the needs of the dairy operation, at any hour of the day or night, is essential . Furthermore, we have found that we are better able to keep good employees as employees of the Corporation through providing residences. At this time, we plan to establish our Colorado dairy facility in three phases. Each of the phases will involve the construction of a milk barn and the addition of 700 to 1 ,000 head of dairy cattle. The first phase, which we expect to be complete and ready for milk production by September, will consist of a new milk barn, about 700 milk cows , 2 double wide and 4 single wide mobile homes, as well as many other improvements to the property. Before we reach full milk production we will need to provide a total of 18 mobile homes as accessory dwelling units for our farming operation. This total will consist of 12 single wide and 6 double wide mobile units. We have no intention to make these units avialable to people other than em- ployees of our dairying operation. Mr. Thomas Rounds will be representing our interests at your meeting. If you should have any questions, please contact Mr. Rounds. We look forward to making Weld County our new Colorado home. t ' -4z. c k - ` - ' ^ E a l — _-F \ r 4"' it i Z T 7r-- riti i F..- — — - - ' - -I- - 1 — 1 - 7 . filr S7 c / ^1 ir -pi‹ . , . ,. , i li n; ni I I -, - D i A _ - e r : - .j • `I ler ; b I I _ 1- ) 1 —r- i , i r 5 1 I : 1 / 5,1, n 1I _ 74 1 e . . 1 I !! .4,.. i \\Y- \....,... 1.j Ce,a `1 o€: Ili l t I{ 1 I , °Boo YL > i L - . /. iE ll I E : b \ I ' i ?; ,n ' 9 o 1• 14 t •i "t 3 F. ` I !II t t r- • F I I I F4"a[ • x'«, .# ,-,11•:4* -1!'., qr:' • n aw y.
