RE: APPROVAL OF CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING FICA CREDIT WARRANTS ISSUED
FEBRUARY 18, 1982
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an attempt was made to notify present and previous County
employees who were eligible for the refund in February, 1982, and
WHEREAS, FICA Credit Warrants have not been claimed as of December 27,
1982, and
WHEREAS, the Accounting Department has recommended to the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that said warrants totaling $8,643.49
be voided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County that the aforementioned unclaimed warrants which are listed in
Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference, in
the amount of $8,643.49 be and hereby are approved for cancellation
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D. , 1982.
