RE : GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 463 - CHARLES AND MARIAN
BAUM
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Charles and Marian Baum have applied to the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado for a permit
to place a mobile home on the following described real estate,
to be used as a temporary residence in addition to a principal
dwelling for use during a medical hardship, and which is to
be occupied in an A-Agricultural Zone District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 5th day of August, 1981, considered the request
of Charles and Marian Baum for a mobile home as a temporary
residence in addition to a principal dwelling for use during
a medical hardship on a parcel of land more particularly
described as follows:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22,
Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard
the applicants, finds that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of
Charles and Marian Baum for permission to place a mobile
home as a temporary residence in addition to a principal
dwelling for use during a medical hardship on the above-
described parcel of land be, and hereby is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th
day of August, A.D. , 1981.

I'm seeking a use rermitted for the mobile home under a Tem- orary
Accessory Use During a Medical klardshi .
F y wife's parents, Mr. and Mr . Weaver Trumbull, are :.urrently residing
in Canajoharic, New York. Due to medical roblems re ;:eek to brine
them under our direct supervision and care here in Colorado.
Mr. Trumbull is 70 years old. He is disabled due to a terminal blood
disorder. He also hac. asthma and a lung infection due to his emphysema.
(The dryer climate in Colorado hel s these two problems.) Ilia condition
rec:.uiren regular vi-its to a medical laboratory.
Mrs. Trumbull is 68 years eld. ::he is unable to drive. Thina
burden and e;:tra r.re.sure on the -ovule. Therefore, my wife and I rrauld

To Whom It May Concern
Re: Trumbull, Mr. Weaver
Mr. Trumbull is under my care with a terminal blood disorder. His
condition is currently disabling. He lives En a rural area and
requires regular trips to the Albany Medical College and Medical
Center. He is also seen at intervals in my office for evaluation of
his blood status . This requires two trips to Amsterdam which is a
20-mile drive - one for the blood to be drawn and sent to the
laboratory and one for the results of the tests and examination of
the patient. His wife is unable to drive, and in winter months it is
sometimes impossible to arrange transportation.
Mr. Trumbull has also developed severe asthma and recurrent lung If
infections due to his emphysema. He spent the past winter in
Colorado with his daughter's family and did very well with the lung
problem.
Essentially Mr. Trumbull has reached the point where he requires
frequent help which he is unable to get outside of a family setting
which would include younger people capable of transporting him to
and from near-by medical facilities on a ular basis .
